KDT is one of the top Driving Schools in Dover and one of the well established Driving Schools in Folkestone. We have been offering driving tuition in Dover and driving tuition in Folkestone for over 5 years, and have taught pupils from 17 to 60 years old!Even wild man of pop, Pete Dohertys little sister Emily! As part of a wide range of courses, we have professional expertise in theory test tuition, intensive courses, refresher lessons, motorway tuition and Pass plus. We can even carry out mock theory tests in the car or at your home if you dont have a computer with our own lap top computer and software.
Last year 2008 Kent Driver Training had 60 driving tests in total, 18 passed 1st time, 9 passed 2nd time, 4 passed 3rd time, 3 passed 4th time. So that means 34 test passes,over half of which passed 1st time.

Before setting up KDT (Kent Driver Training) Jason Pain & Mark Holland worked for National Driving Schools. Jason worked for BSM, then for the AA Driving school, Mark worked for LDC all 3 are National Driving schools. However I felt that national companys do not offer the value for money a small independent company can offer. Did you know that some companys use trainee instructors? And still charge the same lesson rate!!! We dont. And all of our instructors have at least 6 years experiance"

BEWARE!!!! When looking for a Driving School in Dover or a Driving School in Folkestone beware of cheap lessons, these are to get you to start with a School then they often go up to over the normal rate. Also It could be that the School is not very busy and they could make you have more lessons than you need, making the cheap rate more expensive in the long run.We charge an average lesson rate and when you are ready to take your test you take it, simple as that. Remember, if your Driving School has a flash car your the one who is paying for it!!!!
We use a Renault Clio "Rip Curl",Fiat Grande Punto,Peugeot 207 and a Ford Fiesta Zetec with air con, power steering etc, nothing to fancy so we can keep costs low. And we dont work 24/7,we need a rest to, however some instructors do work long hours, what if you are the last pupil of a 12 hour day? you may have to wake them up at the end of the road!!!! So a few things to think about.
